I have been at Coble Animal Hospital since 2001.  I attended the University of Illinois in Champaign for both undergraduate school and vet school.  Although Coble Animal Hospital is my "home-away-from-home", I really live in Spaulding, less than 3 miles from where I grew up.  I have a wonderful, kind and supportive husband, Scott, who is the Illinois statehouse bureau chief for Small Newspaper Group.  I have three beautiful daughters, Grace, Anna and Caitlan - they are my greatest joys and they remind me every day about what is most important in life.

I also have Gail Saner who is my best friend, sister, and "second mommy" to my kids, and a brother, Bob Saner and his wife, Janie, and their 3 kids (Amanda, Christopher, and Jordan).  Of course I have many pets - Hershey, Ronnie, Darcy, Dinkie, Holly, Huey, Lester, Penny, Sylvia, Kitty, Lemon, Buster, Charloette, and Shellington.  I would have more, but Scott says we have enough (but what does he know?  I think we need some birds and some saltwater fish....)

When I'm not here, I'm with my girls, and I pretend to be a variety of different people for their enjoyment - Spongebob, Plankton, Dora, Diego, Thomas the Tank Engine, etc.  If I had spare time, I would be reading (I love Sci Fi, Fantasy, and Mysteries, as well as the Classics.), watching movies (Star Wars, Harry Potter), the Discovery Channel or Murder Mysteries/True Crime Movies, sewing, or my favorite - napping.  I also like to eat!

I attended Western Illinois University and received my DVM from the University of Illinois in December of 2005.  I practiced veterinary medicine in a rural mixed animal practice prior to joining Coble Animal Hospital in June of 2008.  I enjoy working with animals of all shapes and sizes.

I have also been a member of the Illinois Army National Guard from 1998-2008 and am currently a member of the Army Reserves as a veterinarian.

I am happily married to Nick, who is also a full time National Guard member.  We have 2 sons and a daughter; Nicholas & Sullivan and Hazel.  "Dr. Stuart Little Gilmore" is our Jack Russell Terrier, Nola the lab, and Ellie, a mixed breed. We also have 4 crazy cats.  If I had spare time I would hike and in my past life I loved to run.

I'm really close with my family and friends and enjoy hiking, playing games, and just being silly with them as much as I can. I have two dogs of my own that I love so much! An eight month old German shepherd named Nika and a four year old mini dachshund named Phoebe.
